Where Do We Go From Here?
Where Do We Go From Here?
In these conflicting times we are experiencing I often wonder ” Where do we go from here”. What’s next? Is it the beginning of birth pains? After-all we are living in the earth’s womb.
Are you living in the same world as me, tell me your version of what you see? Is it only me that feels the burden of this world? I know it cannot be me that feels this way. I seek and search to find the answer to simple issues but we complicate the bigger picture. The bigger picture for me is ” Love”. That is what out hearts truly yearn for. Yet we still can’t seem to get to it together because of our different versions of the emotion of love.
I have seriously come to the conclusion that love conquers all and that is all we want to feel. The absence of love and compassion is hate and war. These results starts within so how can you execute love with the absence of it for one another.
I am sure many of you want to know who is running the show. We feel we are running the show because many of us are abled to do it from our homes, careers, relationships, finances and anything we may feel we have control over. However, the real issue is the reason why we are here today and most of us are asking where do we go from here? I have studied this theory for many years off and on and especially when you face different pandemics or terrorist attacks or government issues. Things that appear man made or inhumane. What do you do? Where is the love in this game of life we play.
I have to lead with love to find out why the world spins this way. Of course love isn’t the bottom line it’s the core that we need to change the world. When love for humanity is respected in this world then we can make better decisions for everyone. Not everything will suit this entire world but at least the intentions behind it was for the benefit of human kind. We can’t even get that one consideration of thoughtfullness that will make this world a better place. This is why I know it’s not designed for us to be in a better place.
What moves are you making and what are your concerns as you make your next move? Are you even concern or do you feel there’s nothing we could do? Can you truly move freely and live the life of truth with the absence of love and compassion for your country? The place you make your lively hood for you and your family. This place that you pay taxes, take taxes, I mean this is where you are so why do we ignore the issues and look for a solution. When all we have to do is solve what’s within so we can work on what’s outside. If 2020 didn’t do anything for me it did gave me new perspectives. I still don’t know where we go from here but my mindset has reset.
Healthy Weeknight Meals
Cooking can sometimes feel like a chore at the end of a busy day. It’s often tempting to throw a ready meal in the oven or call for take out. But preparing a simple and healthy family meal doesn’t have to be hard or time-consuming. Here are some quick wholesome dishes that you and your family will love. They can even be prepared in advance.
Better than Poutine
I know, what could be better that a steaming plate of fries, gravy and cheese curd? Fries, gravy, cheese curd and bacon, that’s what! Throw in some fresh shallots, chilli, and a splash of roasted bone marrow and duck gravy, and we turn this popular French-Canadian dish into a something sublime.
Breakfast at my House
During the week we’re often walking out the door with a coffee in one hand and slice of toast in the other, but on weekends breakfast is never rushed. It’s a late affair, sometimes spilling over to lunch, with lots of reading and chatter in between courses of fruits, poached eggs, honey and toast. One of our favorite things we like to serve when friends are visiting are buckwheat blueberry pancakes.
Roasted Pumpkin Soup
There’s nothing better than a warm bowl of pumpkin soup on a cold autumn day. Combine your roasted pumpkin with some onion, garlic, vegetable broth, and a few spices, and give it some time to simmer away. Pair it with a few slices of fresh bread to turn it into something sublime.
